In 2007, Traditions Meet produced a DVD outlining the history and activities of the group. The
DVD is available from The Ulster Scots office in Raphoe.
A portion of the DVDs are available online
here.
Introduction
Inspired by the descendants of the scottish planters who have called these lands
their homes for almost 400 years, the group
has rekindled the flame of highland
dancing in a new generation, and taken it to a level where almost 1000 medal and
trophies have been captured on the competition circuit, and the dancers have performed
the length and bredth of the country, and in Scotland.
With over 200 active participants coming from the city, as well as the surrounding
rural district, it is evident that the Ulster Scots tradirtions
are still alive
and well.
